Now is your chance to learn valuable information on how the new FEMA flood maps can affect your property and what the flood risks are for your area. All Monroe County residents and business owners are encouraged to attend a FEMA public flood risk information open house to learn about their flood risk, view the newly proposed preliminary digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM), and find out how the information may impact their property. There is no presentation scheduled and the public is welcome to drop in anytime during the open houses. FEMA representatives, Monroe County staff, and a variety of specialists and experts will be available to answer questions.
